Senior Software Engineer

SUMMARYHulu's Web team is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a passion for developing performant, consumer-facing experiences using modern web technologies.
You will help us push the boundaries of what is possible on the client.
You will work with a team of other developers alongside systems engineers, services engineers and project managers, in a fast-paced environment.
You are highly proficient in Javascript, HTML and CSS and appreciate the details that make a user experience exceptional.
You demonstrate enthusiasm for new technologies, languages, frameworks, and platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Implement web interfaces and applications using Javascript (ES6+) HTML and CSSWork on a modern stack including React, NodeJS, Amazon Web ServicesEnforce code quality through unit and integration testsDistill product requirements into design and technical specificationsCollaborate closely with other engineering, product, and marketing teams to define product requirementsPartner with the UX design team to transform mock-ups into engaging, accessible web experiencesWHAT TO BRING:

years experience building web applications.
Experience in a NodeJS application development environment.
Experience working within a modern Javascript workflow through technologies such as:
GitHub, CSS Preprocessors, Styled Components, Single Page Application frameworks and Module Bundlers (Webpack etc.
)Proven track record of integrating with service APIs and/or SDKsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsBS degree in computer science or equivalent work experienceNICE-TO-HAVES:
Experience with streaming video, e-commerce, large data applicationsAuthentication and authorization specific security experience, especially in eCommerce flowsHands on experience with React, Redux, Next.
js in a production applicationExperience developing & deploying applications with Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologiesSolid understanding of web accessibility fundamentals.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
